Refund & Returns Policy

At Custom Patches by Fineyst, we stand behind the quality of our products. Since most orders are custom-made, our policy ensures fairness while protecting handcrafted work.

Refund Policy

Stock Products

You may return undamaged stock (non-custom) items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

Custom Orders

Due to their personalized nature, custom orders are not eligible for refunds if correctly produced.

To avoid mistakes, we provide digital proofs for your approval before production begins.

Returns Policy

If your patches arrive with manufacturing defects, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photos of the defective items to assess the issue. If we confirm a manufacturing defect, we will offer one of the following solutions:

  • Eligibility: Only stock products and defective custom orders qualify for returns.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in original condition and include all packaging.
  • Return Window: You must request a return within 7 days of delivery for defective items, or within 30 days for stock products.
  • Shipping Costs:
    • For defective/incorrect orders, we provide a prepaid return label.
    • For non-defective stock product returns: the customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • Return Process: Contact [email protected] to request a return authorization before sending items back. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Product Variations

All custom patches are handmade, meaning slight differences are normal.

  • Variations of up to 5% in color, size, or design are considered acceptable.
  • These are not classified as defects.

Defective or Unsatisfactory Products

  • If you believe your order is defective or incorrect, notify us within 7 days of receipt.
  • Returned items will be inspected at our office before a refund or remake is processed.

Inspection & Outcome

  • If 6% or more of products fail inspection (due to defects in color, design, or manufacturing), you may choose:
    • A full remake at no cost (production time: 15–20 days), or
    • A refund (excluding rush order fees).
  • If products fall within the 5% acceptable margin, they will be shipped back, and you'll be responsible for shipping costs.

Order Cancellations

  • Non-Rush Orders: Cancel before production begins for a full refund.
  • Rush Orders: Cannot be canceled once placed.
  • Production Start: Once molds or setup work has begun, only partial refunds are available (minus setup/mold costs).
  • Fully Manufactured Orders: Cannot be canceled or refunded.

Cancellation Fee (Credit Card Orders)

  • Credit card refunds incur a 5% cancellation fee to cover processing costs.
  • No fee applies to payments made by check or money order.

Shipping Errors

If you receive the wrong order or a quantity shortage, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will correct the issue by reshipping the correct items or issuing a refund for missing items.

Risk of Loss

All purchases are shipped under a shipment contract. Ownership and risk of loss transfer once the order is handed to the shipping carrier.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Please allow 5–10 business days for funds to appear in your account.

Restocking Fee

  • A 15% restocking fee applies to returns of eligible stock (non-custom) items.
  • This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
  • Returns due to defects or incorrect items are exempt from this fee.
