Hessigns Motorcycle Club patches are custom embroidered patches for riders who want a clean, strong and lasting identity on their vest. The craft behind them is older than most people think. The overlock stitch that finishes a patch edge was developed by the Merrow Machine Company in the nineteenth century, and computer-controlled embroidery arrived much later, in the late twentieth century, making sharp lettering and fine detail possible at any size. Together, these two inventions made the modern motorcycle club vest patch, with its top rocker, center emblem and bottom rocker, what it is today.
